Our mission has always been to
share the love of Christ with people all over the world through
water-related projects. The soap division was born out of that
mission as we saw the need to teach hygiene and soap-making skills
to villagers in the field. Soap and water go hand-in-hand. |

From a missions perspective, teaching how to make
soap does three things: First, it gives people a chance to
hear the gospel in a simple way. Just as soap is needed to
clean a person on the outside, the Holy Spirit is needed to clean a
person on the inside. Second, it gives people something
tangible that will help to
improve their hygiene and overall health. And,
third, it teaches people a life skill that empowers them with a way
of providing income for their families. We incorporate all
three things in a typical Hydromissions project. And you play
a part... Soap sales help to fund these projects. When you buy a bar of our soap, you are doing much more than just buying a bar of soap... When you buy a bar of Hydromissions soap, you do a good thing. . . For you. For your world. |
